Jack in the Box(R) Introduces Sirloin Steak & Egg Burrito and Hash Brown Sticks

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 2007--Listen up, sleepyheads! If you're having trouble waking up when the alarm clock goes off, Jack in the Box(R) has what you need to get motivated in the morning - the new Sirloin Steak & Egg Burrito - a masterpiece of meat, eggs, cheese and potatoes that makes for a hearty breakfast ... or lunch ... or dinner. That's right, Jack in the Box serves its breakfast menu all day!

Jack's new Sirloin Steak & Egg Burrito features a 10-inch flour tortilla stuffed with strips of 100% sirloin steak, scrambled eggs, hash brown sticks, shredded cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, and chipotle sauce, served with a side of fire-roasted salsa.

"The response to our 100% Sirloin Burger and Steak 'n' Cheddar Ciabatta sandwich has been so great that we wanted to bring sirloin to our breakfast menu," said Tammy Bailey, division vice president of menu marketing and promotions. "The Sirloin Steak & Egg Burrito is a flavorful, high-quality sandwich that's easy to grab and eat on the go any time of day."

Jack's new Sirloin Steak & Egg Burrito is available for the suggested price, excluding tax, of $2.99 at all participating Jack in the Box restaurants.

In addition to the Sirloin Steak & Egg Burrito, Jack in the Box is also introducing hash brown sticks, which replace the style of hash browns the chain has offered since 1979.
