Jack in the Box® Restaurants Honor Top-performing Franchisees

SAN DIEGO, November 2, 2004 -- Jack in the Box® restaurants honored the cream of its franchisee crop at the company’s annual franchise conference award ceremony held Oct.18 at the Grand Wailea Resort on Maui. Awards were presented to franchisees who excelled in five categories: sales volume, percentage sales increase, food safety, mystery guest scores, and quality, food safety and cleanliness.

Out of Jack in the Box’s 84 franchisees, who own and operate more than 450 restaurants, the following went home with the gold:

One to four restaurants: Susan Townsend, Eric Forsum, Martha Egensperger and Saeed Khan (tie)

Five to 10 restaurants: Millie Wang

One to four restaurants: Robert Horton

Five to 10 restaurants: Sam Fong

Highest QFC Performance
