Jack in the Box® Restaurants Honor Top-performing Franchisees

SAN DIEGO – On the road to becoming a national restaurant company, Jack in the Box Inc. has beefed up its franchising efforts to help expand its Jack in the Box® restaurant brand. Though most restaurants are still company owned, Jack in the Box has increased its percentage of franchise-owned restaurants from less than 19 percent to about 25 percent in recent years, and the company plans to further expand its franchise base.

To recognize the dedication and hard work of its growing franchise community, Jack in the Box honored the cream of its franchisee crop at the company’s annual franchise performance awards ceremony, held Nov. 8 at the La Jolla Marriott in San Diego. Awards were presented to franchisees who excelled in five categories: sales volume; percentage sales increase; food safety; quality, food safety and cleanliness (QFC); and Voice of the Customer (VOC) performance. VOC is a consumer-research tool through which randomly selected guests can rate their Jack in the Box dining experience. The following franchisees went home with the gold:
