At Jack in the Box, we know the value of being original.
For over 70 years, our unique style and way of doing things has revolutionized the fast-food industry. This is why we champion the importance of originality and opportunity through our philanthropic arm, the Jack in the Box Foundation. Established in 1998, our Foundation helps people challenge societal boxes holding them back and explore what inspires them to live life to the fullest, on their own terms.
Food is at the core of what we do, so we are dedicated to impacting childhood hunger and food insecurity nationwide. Jack in the Box believes children should be focused on learning, playing, and growing, not on where their next meal is coming from.
Our franchise operators and restaurants are passionate about investing locally by working with high impact, youth-focused organizations. Through Jack’s Community Grants, we support nonprofits who feed, educate, and empower youth in our restaurant communities.
We operate the Team Jack Relief Fund to help our people take their next step forward in times of hardship by providing emergency financial assistance to employees who are victims of a natural or personal disaster.
We are proud to partner with No Kid Hungry to ensure kids get the food they need to thrive. To date, our restaurants have raised $6 million and counting for this worthy cause through our annual Give $1, Get a Curly Fry promotion during the month of September.
Through Jack’s Community Grants, we support nonprofit organizations that feed, educate, and empower youth in our local restaurant communities. These grassroots grants help deliver vital programs – including school and summer meal initiatives, early childhood literacy, mentorship, job readiness training, and much more – across all 22 states where we operate.
Our employees are committed to giving back to the communities where we live and work. Each year, we volunteer hundreds of hours together to serve meals, pack food, clean up public spaces, collect and donate supplies to those in need, wrap holiday gifts for youth and families, and more.
We support both our restaurant communities and our employees in times of disaster. The Team Jack Relief Fund provides grants to our restaurant employees facing personal hardships or natural disasters, helping them recover and rebuild. We also partner with the American Red Cross to aid communities impacted by crises. Whether it's a nationwide emergency or a local effort led by one of our restaurants, we're ready to respond with fundraising support when it's needed most.
