Cage-Free Eggs

Jack in the Box Achieves 100% Cage-Free Egg Commitment

At Jack in the Box, we are committed to continuously improving how we source ingredients and serve our guests. We are proud to announce that, as of December 31, 2025, we have met our goal of sourcing 100% cage-free eggs across our U.S. system.

Our Commitment

In alignment with our broader food quality and responsible sourcing initiatives, we committed to transitioning to a fully cage-free egg supply. This goal applied to all shell and liquid eggs used in our menu items and ingredients supplied to our restaurants nationwide.

We are pleased to confirm that, by the end of 2025, all eggs purchased for our U.S. restaurants meet our cage-free standard.

What Cage-Free Means

Cage-free eggs are sourced from hens that are not kept in cages and are able to move freely within enclosed barns, with access to food and water. While housing systems vary, cage-free production eliminates conventional battery cages and supports improved animal welfare practices.

Partnering for Progress

This milestone reflects close collaboration with our suppliers, franchisees, and industry partners to responsibly scale our supply chain while maintaining product quality and operational consistency.

We will continue to evaluate and advance responsible sourcing practices that align with our values and the expectations of our guests.
